After nearly four months away from the Circle, ONE Championship will resume its flagship event schedule on Friday, 31 July.
ONE: NO SURRENDER will be held at a closed-door, audience-free venue and will be broadcast live all over the globe.
“I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to our superstar team at ONE Championship for everything,” Sityodtong wrote in his Facebook post.
“The world is suffering from the worst global crisis in a hundred years. Most national borders remain closed across Asia. With zero visibility and weekly COVID-19 policy changes in every country, it has been impossible to plan anything. Thank you to the greatest team in the world for your heart and hustle. #gratitude #WeAreONE.”
The news that ONE’s flagship event schedule will resume comes a week after the promotion successfully tested the waters with ONE Hero Series 13 and 14 in Shanghai, China.
Sityodtong also teased the newly-launched ONE Dark Series, which will feature prerecorded events and air on broadcast partners around the world.
Although an official card has yet to be released for ONE: NO SURRENDER, fans can expect the world’s largest martial arts organization to pick up right where it left off in February.
