Allycia Hellen Rodrigues To Defend Muay Thai World Title Against Shir Cohen In New Main Event Of ONE Fight Night 32

Long-reigning ONE Women’s Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion Allycia Hellen Rodrigues is set for the next defense of her gold on June 6 in U.S. primetime.

The Brazilian superstar will put her World Title on the line against red-hot Israeli phenom Shir Cohen in the new main event of ONE Fight Night 32 on Prime Video at the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Rodrigues has been flawless at atomweight since dethroning Thai megastar Stamp Fairtex for the Muay Thai crown in her ONE debut back in 2020. After taking a hiatus for the birth of her child, she returned in 2023 to unify the divisional belts, defeating interim titleholder Janet Todd at ONE Fight Night 8.

In her most recent outing, the Phuket Fight Club representative turned in a sterling performance against UK standout Marie McManamon at ONE Fight Night 29, cruising to a fourth-round TKO that further solidified her as one of the organization’s most dominant World Champions.

For her part, Cohen has been nothing short of sensational since signing with ONE in 2023. The 24-year-old brawler earned her main roster contract by winning the ultra-tough Road to ONE: Thailand tournament and has since gone a perfect 3-0.

Honing her skills at the famed Fairtex Training Center, Cohen brings sharp boxing, heavy hands, and superhuman pacing to the matchup. Her statement-making victory over decorated Scottish veteran Amy Pirnie last October established her as the division’s most dangerous challenger.

Fans can look forward to a firefight when these two world-class strikers collide. Rodrigues boasts a traditional Muay Thai style focused on devastating elbows and punishing kicks to the legs and body, while Cohen is a masterful close-range fighter and a boxing expert.

It’s also an opportunity for Cohen to complete her meteoric rise and become Israel’s first ONE World Champion, while Rodrigues is hungry to extend her reign of terror and continue to build her impressive legacy.
