‘A Fighter That Will Never Lose’ – Ok Rae Yoon Praises Ham Seo Hee Ahead Of World Title Clash With Stamp Fairtex

Former ONE Lightweight MMA World Champion Ok Rae Yoon fully believes his Team MAD stablemate Ham Seo Hee will bring the next illustrious belt to their South Korea gym.

“Hamzzang” faces Stamp Fairtex for the ONE Interim Women’s Atomweight MMA World Title in the main event of ONE Fight Night 14 on Prime Video on September 29, and Ok can only envision a victory for the division’s #2-ranked contender.

Ham already owns an impressive nine-fight winning streak that dates back to 2017 and includes a perfect 3-0 slate in ONE Championship.

Given that red-hot form, Ok expects his juggernaut teammate to keep rolling when she faces Stamp in U.S. primetime next month.

He said:

“Ham Seo Hee is a fighter who will never lose. She doesn’t look like she’ll ever lose against anyone. Although it is a World Title fight, she is highly unlikely to lose.”

Of course, Ok isn’t taking anything away from Stamp with his prediction.

He saw what the Fairtex athlete can do firsthand when they shared the same card at ONE Fight Night 10 in Colorado, USA, and he respects her credentials in both striking and mixed martial arts.

Still, he thinks that Ham’s long, decorated career in MMA – and her own impressive striking – will give her an edge against the former atomweight kickboxing and Muay Thai queen.

Ok said:

“I watched Stamp’s fight in front of my eyes in the United States. She was very good at stand-up fighting. She had already earned World Championships [in striking sports] and seemed to be using her striking well, even after transitioning to MMA.

“However, I think this sport is highly relative, and I believe Ham Seo Hee will do better comparatively. She is also a skilled fighter with an impressive track record in stand-up fighting.

“In my opinion, both fighters have a similar level of stand-up fighting ability, but they possess unique strengths as well. That being said, I believe that Ham Seo Hee’s MMA striking skills surpass those of Stamp.”

Ham Seo Hee Inspires Ok Rae Yoon To Train Harder

Ok Rae Yoon knows what it takes to win a ONE World Title, and the nonstop effort he sees from Ham Seo Hee at Team MAD shows him that she’s ready to claim gold.

With an insider’s view at her mentality and dedication, Ok revealed that “Hamzzang” has an unrivaled work ethic – one that impresses and motivates every other member of the gym.

He said of the 36-year-old:

“Ham Seo Hee’s most notable strength is her dedication to extreme workouts.

“When Ham Seo Hee takes a break, she truly relaxes. But when it comes to training, she puts in a lot of effort and grinds hard.

“I often wonder, ‘Doesn’t she ever gets tired from all that hard work?’ So I always feel I must push myself harder to reach the highest level.”

Given all of Ham’s hard work and her illustrious MMA career, Ok thinks it’s the perfect time to crown it with the biggest prize of all.

He’s seen the atomweight veteran win many high-profile regional titles already, and now, he expects her to prove what he already knows – that she’s the greatest in the world.

Ok added:

“I think Ham Seo Hee has always been the best in the atomweight division. She was the best before, she’s the best in the present, and I think she will be the best in the future.”
