The Best Pictures From ONE Fight Night 33: Rodrigues Vs. Persson

Allycia Hellen Rodrigues celebrates her victory with her son

ONE Championship returned to the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday, July 11, for a heart-pounding event full of shocking finishes, thrilling moments, and highly competitive Muay Thai and MMA battles.

The headline attraction of ONE Fight Night 33: Rodrigues vs. Persson on Prime Video, which aired live in U.S. primetime, featured a pair of battle-hardened strikers throwing down in a back-and-forth war for the ONE Women’s Atomweight Muay Thai World Title.

It was a captivating main event, but Brazilian mom-champ Allycia Hellen Rodrigues knocked out WBC Muay Thai World Champion Johanna Persson with a vicious left hook in the third round to retain her coveted belt. That performance also earned her a US$50,000 performance bonus from ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong.

In addition to that, Russian brawler Abdulla Dayakaev enjoyed a successful featherweight Muay Thai debut at ONE Fight Night 33, as he flatlined Nontachai Jitmuangnon in just 24 seconds. Not only did he earn a US$50,000 performance bonus too, but that finish gave him the fastest Muay Thai knockout in ONE history.

There were so many other unforgettable highlights, including Chihiro Sawada‘s surprising armbar win and Jhanlo Mark Sangiao‘s submission victory in the waning seconds of the show’s opening contest.

Now, before we move ahead to ONE Friday Fights 116, relive all the action from ONE Fight Night 33 through the camera lenses of ONE’s talented ringside photographers.
