In Photos: Nong-O Hama And Aslamjon Ortikov Turn Up The Heat Ahead Of The Inner Circle 20
Two of the most popular strikers who are scheduled for action at The Inner Circle 20 opened the doors to their gyms this week for separate open workout sessions. In the process, they gave fans and media a glimpse at their preparation going into one of the most anticipated events of the month.
Muay Thai living legend Nong-O Hama conducted his session at Superbon Training Camp in Bangkok, Thailand, this past Tuesday, June 16, while undefeated Uzbek sensation Aslamjon Ortikov followed suit at TC Muay Thai School in the Thai capital on Wednesday, June 17.
After hitting the pads and displaying their elite skills, both men spoke to the media about their upcoming bouts on Friday, June 26, which emanates from Bangkok’s prestigious Lumpinee Stadium and streams exclusively on live.onefc.com.
Nong-O Hama: The Trilogy Decider
At 39 years old, Nong-O Hama continues to defy Father Time.
The Evolve MMA representative is widely regarded as one of the greatest Muay Thai fighters to ever step through the ropes, having become the inaugural ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion in February 2019 and defending the gold seven times. His 267-59 career record speaks to a fighter who has competed at the highest level for decades and remains a formidable force in the ring.
At The Inner Circle 20, he faces Thai compatriot Kongthoranee Sor Sommai in a flyweight Muay Thai trilogy bout, and the stakes could not be higher.
The series is locked at one apiece – Kongthoranee claimed victory in the first encounter via split decision in February 2025, but three months later, Nong-O evened the score with a unanimous decision win. A trilogy decider between the pair at this stage of their careers promises to be an unmissable chapter in both of their stories.
Aslamjon Ortikov: One Nation, One Dream
For Aslamjon Ortikov, June 26 is about more than a ONE World Title. It is about history.
The 23-year-old, who represents TC Muaythai and Sport Club Shakhriyor, owns a 24-0 record with 13 victories via finish, and he has been equally dominant in ONE Championship, winning all 10 of his promotional contests. His rise through the ranks began on the ONE Friday Fights event series, where a string of electric performances earned him a US$100,000 contract and announced him as one of the most exciting talents in the flyweight Muay Thai division.
Back-to-back wins over Kongthoranee Sor Sommai and Jordan Estupinan punched his ticket to the vacant ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Title fight against unbeaten Russian destroyer Asadula “The Dagestan Ninja” Imangazaliev. Should he emerge victorious at The Inner Circle 20, Ortikov will become Uzbekistan’s first-ever ONE Muay Thai World Champion – a milestone that has fueled every session, every sparring round, and every sacrifice along the way.
Now, a week away from their matches, the two are putting the finishing touches on their respective training camps. With that in mind, here are some pictures from this week’s open workout sessions at Superbon Training Camp and TC Muay Thai School.
