Ben Coate is a Lead Writer for ONE Championship. From wrestling in his early years to Muay Thai, MMA, and now a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Ben has been involved in martial arts for practically his entire life. That passion for combat sports led him to cover fights full-time with a special focus on the grappling arts. Currently living in Kansas City, United States, Ben enjoys teaching BJJ, reading anything he can get his hands on, and spending time with his wife and young son.
