Yosuke Saruta authored a stellar all-around performance to edge out Joshua Pacio and capture the ONE Strawweight World Title at ONE: ETERNAL GLORY in Jakarta. Leaning on his world-class grappling, “Tobizaru” repeatedly put his Filipino adversary on his back throughout five adrenaline-pumping rounds. Though the Team Lakay phenom landed significant strikes in the later rounds, the Japanese superstar’s ground game proved too much for Pacio to handle, and Saruta ultimately claimed the biggest victory of his career by split decision.
