Rene Catalan turned in an impressive all-around performance to clinch a submission victory over Adrian Mattheis at ONE: QUEST FOR POWER in Jakarta. After an excellent showcase of his improved ground game in the first round, the wushu-based superstar came close to a sensational armbar finish only for his Indonesian compatriot to be saved by the bell. However, Catalan was not to be denied as he took the bout to the ground early in the second round, before locking in another slick armbar to force the referee to call a stop to the contest.
