ONE Championship: A NEW ERA | Full Event
ONE Championship hosted the greatest event in martial arts history with ONE: A NEW ERA in Tokyo. In the main event, Japanese legend Shinya Aoki redeemed himself in front of his fellow compatriots, reclaiming the ONE Lightweight World Title from Filipino icon Eduard Folayang in an epic rematch two years in the making. In the co-main events, ONE World Champions Aung La N Sang and Xiong Jing Nan secured stunning knockout wins over Ken Hasegawa and Angela Lee, respectively, to retain their World Titles. Plus, Russian powerhouse Timofey Nastyukhin shocked the world by knocking out lightweight legend Eddie Alvarez in their ONE Lightweight World Grand Prix matchup, while flyweight icon Demetrious Johnson overcame a tough start against Japanese phenom Yuya Wakamatsu to advance to the ONE Flyweight World Grand Prix semifinals with a slick submission finish.
