Kiamrian Abbasov took a huge step towards a shot at the ONE Welterweight World Title at ONE: FOR HONOR. The Kyrgyzstan native had to survive an early scare in the opening stanza, as Yushin Okami came out as the aggressor. Controlling the pace, the Japanese legend was closing the distance before connecting with a well-timed takedown to finish the round on top. But their roles were reversed in the second frame as Abbasov looked to showcase his trademark power. A looping right hand would connect to send “Thunder” crashing to the ground. Abbasov followed up with a flurry of punches before the referee called a stop to the contest.
