Updated Card Revealed For ONE Fight Night 9: Nong-O Vs. Haggerty On Prime Video

Jonathan Haggerty lands a kick on Vladimir Kuzmin

On Friday, April 21, ONE Championship will return to the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium with 10 explosive Muay Thai and MMA bouts for ONE Fight Night 9: Nong-O vs. Haggerty on Prime Video.

The show is topped by an intriguing ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title clash between two of the biggest names in the sport.

However, a few matches on the supporting card have experienced some recent changes.

Top-ranked bantamweight Muay Thai contender Saemapetch Fairtex will replace his teammate, Ferrari Fairtex, to square off against dangerous Brazilian striker Felipe Lobo in a battle of former ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title challengers.

Saemapetch has been in elite form lately. The Pattaya resident owns back-to-back victories over heated rival Rittewada Petchyindee and former ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Championship challenger Zhang Chenglong.

Lobo, meanwhile, won his first two battles in the Circle, defeating highly respected veterans Yodpanomrung Jitmuangnon and Rodlek PK Saenchai. But now, he aims to bounce back into the win column following his unsuccessful bid for the divisional crown in March 2022.

And in flyweight Muay Thai action, Bosnian-Canadian scrapper Denis Puric fills in for Black Panther to take on British standout Jacob Smith.

The 37-year-old Puric lost his promotional debut in May 2022, but he came back in a major way five months later with a decision victory over Russian knockout artist Tagir Khalilov.

Smith, on the other hand, fell to longtime divisional kingpin Rodtang Jitmuangnon in the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Grand Prix quarterfinals last May, so he will be looking to make a lasting impression during his sophomore appearance on the global stage.
