Just days after thrilling the global fan base with a highlight-reel knockout at ONE Fight Night 35 last weekend, Shadow Singha Mawynn is making a quick return to action – except this time, it will be in a featherweight kickboxing match at ONE Friday Fights 126.

The Thai standout has agreed to face “Spirit Dragon” Liu Mengyang at the blockbuster Asia primetime event, which goes down live at the world-famous Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday, September 26.

ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai was originally scheduled to kick-start his charge back to the featherweight kickboxing title picture against the Chinese sensation, but an injury forced him to withdraw from the contest.

After falling in his promotional debut in February 2024, Shadow has been on fire.

The 25-year-old Thai phenom rattled off five straight victories, including big wins over former ONE World Title challenger Jimmy Vienot and multi-time Muay Thai and Kickboxing World Champion Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong, to earn a six-figure contract with ONE Championship in March.

Shadow now finds himself coming off his most impressive performance yet, knocking out #2-ranked featherweight Muay Thai contender Bampara Kouyate with a spinning backfist at ONE Fight Night 35 in U.S. primetime.

This battle at ONE Friday Fights 126 marks Shadow’s first kickboxing tilt in the world’s largest martial arts organization, but Liu will serve as a difficult test in the sport.

Liu shocked the global fan base in his promotional debut last December, as he defeated future ONE Interim Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion Masaaki Noiri via unanimous decision.

Though he fell to Iranian hard-hitter Mohammad Siasarani via split decision in April, the 22-year-old Chinese striker is motivated to bounce back into the win column and leave no doubt who the better kickboxer is.
