Rivas Withdraws, Khalilov To Fight Rodtang At ONE: FISTS OF FURY

ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon is ready for action

This Friday, 26 February, ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang “The Iron Man” Jitmuangnon will make his ONE Super Series kickboxing debut and officially start his quest toward becoming a two-sport World Champion.

However, when the Thai megastar enters the Circle at ONE: FISTS OF FURY in Singapore, he will be standing across the Circle from a brand new opponent.

WKPF Kickboxing Champion Alejandro Rivas was originally scheduled to face the Jitmuangnon Gym representative at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, but he was forced to withdraw from the contest due to health and safety protocols.

Replacing the Spaniard will be the always dangerous Tagir Khalilov.

Khalilov, who fought out of Revolution Gym in Phuket, Thailand, before going on to open Samingprai Muay Thai Gym in his native Yekaterinburg, Russia, is a WMC I-1 Global Champion. He has competed in his homeland and all throughout Thailand, compiling a 22-7-2 professional record in the process.

The 28-year-old Russian is a fearless risk-taker who’s not afraid to get hit in order to land his own punches, and that should match nicely with Rodtang’s ultra-aggressive style.

Stay tuned to ONEFC.com for more details about ONE: FISTS OF FURY, which broadcasts live from Singapore on Friday.
