ONE Friday Fights 158 Main Event Result: Petnamkhong Outsmarts Maisangkum To Extend Winning Streak To Three
Petnamkhong Sor Maneekhot moved to three victories in succession with a dominant unanimous decision over Maisangkum Sor Yingcharoenkarnchang in the strawweight Muay Thai main event of ONE Friday Fights 158. The bout aired in Asia primetime from Bangkok’s historic Lumpinee Stadium on Friday, June 12.
Maisangkum got his offense going early, threading a stiff straight past Petnamkhong’s defenses and driving him into the corner with signature body punches. In the opposite corner, the Sor Maneekhot affiliate stayed composed, creating separation with mid-range kicks. The Laotian tactician bided his time, quietly reading every pattern Maisangkum threw.
That forced the 22-year-old Petnamkhong to switch stances in the second round to disrupt his opponent’s rhythm. He connected at will from a southpaw stance. Elbows greeted Maisangkum every time the latter bridged the gap, and sharp push kicks reset the range before he could truly settle into a flow.

His clinch work proved equally disruptive, wiry strength neutralizing the Boxing Army 3 fighter’s forward charge. As Maisangkum kept digging to the body, Petnamkhong gauged his timing and caught him coming in with crisp straights and a well-timed head kick.
Maisangkum swung for the fences in the final round, hoping to land something big. However, Petnamkhong answered with jabs to the head and body, then opened a cut with a short elbow. He never let up despite the Thai’s best efforts to turn the heat up, mixing kicks and punches from different angles until time expired.
The verdict was never in doubt. Three judges saw it the same way, which improved Petnamkhong’s record to an impressive 46-9.
