ONE Friday Fights 155 Co-Main Event Result: Panpayak Outsmarts Othman Rhouni To Get Back In Win Column
“The Angel Warrior” Panpayak Jitmuangnon‘s trademark left kick played a pivotal role as he outpointed Othman “The Ironside” Rhouni by split decision in a bantamweight kickboxing bout, which starred as the co-main event of ONE Friday Fights 155 at Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium on Friday, May 22.
The seven-time Muay Thai World Champion pressed forward from the opening bell of this Asia primetime battle, using his signature left kick to disrupt the Moroccan’s unorthodox rhythm.
Every time the 25-year-old stepped in, a left straight punch was waiting for his chin. Rhouni did find some success with low kicks to keep the round competitive, but “The Angel Warrior” flew forward into enemy territory with more combinations.

Rhouni came out more aggressively in the second, however, and took the fight to the Jitmuangnon Gym warrior with punches to the body. But Panpayak stayed crafty, maneuvering to the sides and blasting his opponent with left kicks each time he advanced.
The Team Mehdi Zatout athlete made it a more competitive affair in the third, stepping in with knees to soften up Panpayak’s belly. The Thai stuck to his game plan, ripping left kicks into his side and following up with straight left punches to see out the round.
The split decision win was the bounce-back the 30-year-old needed after a tough loss. One of Thailand’s most celebrated warriors showed his experience remains a formidable weapon, improving to 251-44.
