ONE Friday Fights 153 Main Event Result: Worapon Carves Up Tom Casse With Brutal Body Work To Make It Three In A Row
Worapon Lukjaoporongtom overcame promotional newcomer Tom “No Time” Casse by unanimous decision in their bantamweight Muay Thai main event of ONE Friday Fights 153 in Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium, this past Friday, May 8.
The 23-year-old earned his third successive triumph of the year on this Asia primetime spectacle, though it was anything but straightforward.
He targeted the Frenchman’s lead leg with low kicks to kick things off, his shin careening off the thigh with each connection. Casse, however, put together punch combinations to set up his own kicking game.
But Worapon stayed crafty with his footwork, sidestepping and loading up counters with efficiency. Casse refused to be discouraged, finding success in the clinch with knees to keep it competitive.
In the second stanza, Worapon battered the 25-year-old’s body with left kicks until it turned a deep shade of purple. The Thai slowed down toward the end of the round, however, and Casse seized the momentum back with big punches that forced him to backpedal.

Both men met in the middle in the third and refused to budge in the final three minutes. Worapon went back to the body kick, but it had lost its edge, and Casse came to life like never before, unloading punches in his most dangerous spell of the fight.
He attempted to jump into a knee, but Worapon clipped him on the chin and buckled his legs. A firefight erupted as both men swung for the finish to close out the final canto.
After nine minutes of non-stop entertainment, all three judges at ringside handed Worapon the 71st victory of his career.
