ONE Friday Fights 138 Results: Ubaid Hussain Moves To 14-0 With Total Domination Of Brazil

Undefeated British-Pakistani warrior Ubaid “Bad” Hussain put on another flawless performance to emerge victorious in his flyweight Muay Thai featured bout against Thai standout Brazil Aekmuangnon at ONE Friday Fights 138.

From the opening bell, live in Asia primetime on Friday, January 16, the 20-year-old set a hard pace at Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium, pressing forward and giving his opposite number no room to operate.

Hussain landed a pair of knee strikes, then followed with punches that steadily broke through the guard. The young Thai showed heart, but the pressure eventually sent him to the canvas for the first knockdown.

Brazil may have made it back to his feet, but “Bad” kept out his relentless output before the stanza came to an end.

The second round followed a similar pattern. Hussain stayed on the front foot, mixing punches, elbows, and knees, which forced the Aekmuangnon affiliate into a defensive shell as the minutes slipped away.

Desperate to turn the tide, Brazil returned to the ring with renewed fire in the third and final frame. He threw hooks and used massive teeps to keep Hussain at bay, but the Kiatphontip man was having none of that.

The young gun continued his mastery in proximity, landing with accuracy, finding openings, and finishing the bout in cruise control.

When it was over, all three judges sided with Hussain, who moved to 14-0 overall and 5-0 in the weekly series. At the same time, he avenged his Kiatphontip teammate Soufiane “Patika” Mejdoubi, who was stopped by the Thai at ONE Friday Fights 129 last October.
