Jaosuayai Stuns In U.S. Primetime Debut With 52-Second Destruction Of Nakrob

Jaosuayai Mor Krungthepthonburi strapped himself into the sling of a catapult, unlatched the release mechanism, and launched himself over the wall protecting the elite of the flyweight Muay Thai division after decimating a top-five contender in just 52 seconds.
The 23-year-old phenom enjoyed a successful U.S. primetime debut against #5-ranked Nakrob Fairtex in the main event of ONE Fight Night 32 on Prime Video, which emanated from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday, June 6.
In fact, the outcome left fans at the iconic arena and those watching around the globe scooping their jaws from their laps.
After a tense 28 seconds, Jaosuayai threw a right high kick that came up and over Nakrob’s left arm, wrapping his shin around his Thai compatriot’s neck. The Fairtex product’s torso stiffened as his legs tried to run away from him.
Jaosuayai then fired four punches at his opponent, dropping Nakrob for an eight-count. On sheer heart, the pride of Fairtex Training Center returned to his feet. All the while Jaosuayai licked his chops, waiting for referee Ricky Sewell to resume the action.
When he did, the Sor Dechapan representative ran at Nakrob and unleashed a flying push kick. The force sent Nakrob into the corner, where he tried to defend himself from Jaosuayai with jutting elbows.
But another boxing combination left Nakrob’s head and legs once again in two different dimensions. Jaosuayai, showing no mercy, blasted his countryman with a left kick to the face.
Sewell jumped in to stop the fight, and Jaosuayai – a graduate of the ONE Friday Fight series – celebrated his first victory as part of the promotion’s global roster.
With the win, he improved his record to 60-22, earned a US$50,000 performance bonus from ONE Championship Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong, and may have taken Nakrob’s #5 spot in the loaded flyweight Muay Thai rankings.
