Halil Amir, Zhang Peimian, Kang Ji Won All Set To Return At ONE Fight Night 16 On November 3

Halil Amir declared winner at ONE on Prime Video 2

A trio of action-packed contests have been confirmed for ONE Fight Night 16: Haggerty vs. Andrade on Prime Video, which takes place in U.S. primetime on Friday, November 3.

Two MMA battles and a fiery kickboxing encounter will bolster the card at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand – and all of them will bring a high probability of a finish.

Undefeated Turkish athlete Halil Amir is returning against Pakistani standout Ahmed “Wolverine” Mujtaba in a lightweight MMA tilt.

Amir earned the #4 contender spot in the division with a knockout win over Timofey Nastyukhin in his ONE debut, and he most recently scored a decision victory over Maurice Abevi in April, pushing his overall record to 9-0.

Meanwhile, Mujtaba snapped his two-fight winning streak against Sage Northcutt in May, but the powerful “Wolverine” is eager to prove he belongs among the elite by getting back on track against a highly ranked foe.

A kickboxing bout between “Fighting Rooster” Zhang Peimian and Rui Botelho will pit two of the most exciting strawweights against each other in a matchup that will be fought at a furious pace.

Zhang fell to Jonathan Di Bella for the ONE Strawweight Kickboxing World Title last year but got back in the winner’s column when he defeated Torepchi Dongak in March. Now 3-1 in ONE Championship, the Chinese phenom is hoping for another crack at Di Bella’s gold.

On the other side, Botelho has faced a who’s who of kickboxing and Muay Thai during his stint in ONE and pushed them all the way. Now competing at his more natural weight, a win over a World Title contender would be massive for the Portuguese striker moving forward.

Finally, the heavyweights are in town, as undefeated Canadian Ben Tynan faces knockout artist “Mighty Warrior” Kang Ji Won in a colossal MMA clash.

Following a spotless amateur career, Tynan has posted a 4-0 slate as a pro, finishing every fight inside the distance with a combination of strikes and submissions.

However, Kang will be his toughest test to date. The South Korean owns a 3-1 record in ONE, with all three of those victories coming by KO against some stern opposition.

Another stoppage could push him toward ONE Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight MMA World Champion Anatoly Malykhin, though Tynan could snipe some of “Mighty Warrior’s” hard-earned prestige with an impressive debut victory.

With these additions and many more to come, ONE Fight Night 16 on Prime Video looks set to be a barnburner on November 3. Stay tuned to onefc.com for all the updates.
