Giorgio Petrosyan Spars With Italian Hip-Hop Star Tony Effe
ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix Champion Giorgio “The Doctor” Petrosyan welcomed a new training partner into his gym — one-third of the Italian hip-hop group Dark Polo Gang, Tony Effe.
The 29-year-old music artist got to learn from one of the best strikers in the world and show off his developing kickboxing skills.
“The Doctor” was all smiles at the start of the sparring session and kept the Italian music star on his back foot throughout the period.
But it was not all bad for the Dark Polo Gang rapper, who flashed a solid jab and crisp hook during the session.
Effe could not have a better teacher than his compatriot. Petrosyan is at the top of his game, and any time spent in the ring with him is a privilege.
Only time will tell if Effe will return the favor by putting “The Doctor” on his next record. If it’s anything like his striking, expect fire.
