Full Card Revealed For ONE Friday Fights 76 On August 23
ONE Championship is returning to Bangkok, Thailand, with an action-packed ONE Friday Fights 76 card that is locked and loaded for the Asia primetime audience on August 23.
Lumpinee Stadium is set for another Muay Thai feast with the 12-fight lineup, which also includes a pair of bouts contested under MMA and submission grappling rules.
In the main event, Puengluang Baanramba will take on Samingdam Looksuan in a high-stakes flyweight Muay Thai firefight.
Puengluang saw his stunning six-fight winning streak snapped in his last outing, and the 24-year-old will be desperate to get back to winning ways.
He’ll need to get past Samingdam, who is looking for his third win in a row as he builds his case for a lucrative contract with ONE’s global roster.
The 21-year-old rising star currently boasts a 4-1 record at ONE Friday Fights.
Before the headliner goes down, teenage sensation Thant Zin will face Tai Sor Jor Piek Uthai in a 136-pound catchweight Muay Thai battle.
The ultra-aggressive Tai has been a crowd-pleaser in his two appearances under the ONE banner, and he’ll surely go all out in search of his first victory.
On the other side, Myanmar’s Thant Zin is riding a wave of momentum after a crushing TKO win in his debut this past February.
The 19-year-old dispatched Jaising Sitnayokpunsak just 40 seconds into the second round at ONE Friday Fights 52, and he’ll be chasing another highlight-reel finish this week.
Another fighter to look out for is Kaimookkhao Wankhongohm MBK.
The 18-year-old will be looking for his third straight victory when he welcomes ONE debutant Petkaolan Singha Mawynn – another upstart from the talent-rich Singha Mawynn camp – in a 126-pound catchweight Muay Thai clash.
All eyes will also be on undefeated 21-year-old lethwei sensation Thway Lin Htet, who is making his ONE debut against Thai slugger Ganchai Jitmuangnon in a strawweight Muay Thai tussle.
In MMA action, undefeated Vietnamese strawweight Pham Van Nam will look to keep his perfect professional record intact when he faces Team Lakay representative Estrada Donga-as.
Plus, promotional newcomers Magomet Matiev and Tomoshige Sera will look to open the card with a bang when they lock horns in a lightweight submission grappling showdown.
