Flyweight Muay Thai Showdown Between Johan Ghazali And Ye Yint Naung Set For ONE Friday Fights 141
Malaysian-American striking sensation Johan “Jojo” Ghazali will look to give Myanmar mangler Ye Yint Naung a rude welcome to the world’s largest martial arts organization at ONE Friday Fights 141.
The two collide in a three-round flyweight Muay Thai contest at Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium on Friday, February 6, airing live in Asia primetime.
Ghazali first made a name for himself through the weekly series, racing to a perfect 5-0 start and becoming the youngest winner of the coveted US$100,000 contract at just 16.
However, the now 19-year-old had a rough start to 2025. Back-to-back losses to Johan “Panda Kick” Estupinan and Diego Paez tested his resolve, forcing the teenage sensation to reassess his approach.
Unwilling to be defined by his setbacks, Ghazali bounced back in marvelous fashion at ONE Fight Night 35 last September. Against divisional mainstay Zakaria El Jamari, the Rentap Muaythai Gym and Superbon Training Camp product looked more patient and precise, yet still carried the same devastating power.
He put away the Moroccan with a walk-off TKO victory in under a round, reminding everyone why he remains one of the division’s most dangerous young talents.
“Jojo” was supposed to begin his 2026 campaign at ONE Fight Night 39, but the bout was canceled after his opponent, Sean Climaco, withdrew due to injury.
Now, Ghazali returns to where it all started, looking to kick off a big year with another emphatic win.
But awaiting him is a hungry debutant ready to seize a golden opportunity.
Ye Yint Naung draws a credentialed fan-favorite for his promotional debut — a trial by fire that could fast-track his career. The 20-year-old Myanmar native owns a 29-6 career record and has seen his skills grow exponentially since joining the elite training stable at Team Mehdi Zatout in Pattaya.
This bout represents a chance for the Myanmar star to step into the spotlight and join his compatriots who have already made their mark on the global stage.
On February 6, Ghazali looks to continue his winning ways while Ye Yint Naung aims to spoil the party with a rousing introduction.
