Fans To Vote On Atomweight World Grand Prix Semifinal Matchups
ONE Championship fans will play matchmaker in the biggest women’s mixed martial arts tournament of all time.
Following the ONE Women’s Atomweight World Grand Prix quarterfinal bouts at ONE: EMPOWER this Friday, 3 September, supporters can vote for the matchups they want to see next.
An online vote — running right here on onefc.com from 3-10 September — will officially decide the two semifinals bouts. The fan vote was first announced during the ONE: EMPOWER Faceoffs on Thursday.
The quarterfinal matchups at ONE: EMPOWER will feature Denice Zamboanga vs. Seo Hee Ham, Aloyna Rassohyna vs. Stamp Fairtex, Meng Bo vs. Ritu Phogat, and Itsuki Hirata vs. Alyse Anderson.
Fans will see which four athletes emerge victorious on Friday night and then decide which head-to-head battles would be the most exciting in the next round.
The results of this fantasy matchmaking will be revealed at the massive ONE: REVOLUTION event on Friday, 24 September.
After the semifinals, the final two contenders will compete for the ONE Women’s Atomweight World Grand Prix Championship belt and the chance to challenge reigning atomweight queen “Unstoppable” Angela Lee.
