On February 7, the world’s largest martial arts organization is kicking off a doubleheader of combat sports action with ONE Friday Fights 96 in Asia primetime.
As always at the weekly series, an assortment of rising stars will hunt for a US$100,000 contract with ONE Championship’s global roster at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
In the main event, Thai strikers Komawut FA Group and Panrit Lukjaomaesaiwaree rematch in a 142-pound catchweight Muay Thai affair. Komawut wants to prove his majority decision win in their first meeting was no fluke, while Panrit aims to even the score.
Also on the card, Italy’s Alessio Malatesta meets Russia’s Abdulla Dayakaev in a bantamweight Muay Thai showdown, while contracted Japanese fighter Hyu throws down with Portuguese debutant Leandro Miranda in flyweight kickboxing action.
