5 Fashion Tips From ONE Championship Superstars

The Stamp Dance was in full effect at ONE: WINTER WARRIORS.

Fans of ONE Championship might check out their favorite athletes’ Instagram profiles to pick up some new martial arts techniques, but other followers keep up with those fighters for another reason – fashion tips.

Whether the superstars of ONE rock a pair of jeans with a white shirt or slide into a leather jacket with high heels, they know it’s important to own a great style and mix and match different looks. Some of them might even employ a good tailor and keep a closet full of statement pieces.

Here are some fashion trends that five of ONE Championship’s athletes are into right now, and how you can use them to elevate your own style outside the gym.

#1 Use Simple, Bold Looks

Stamp Fairtex may be the ONE Women’s Atomweight World Grand Prix Champion, but when she’s not defeating the division’s top athletes, the eclectic Thai fighter is a queen of crop tops.

The former Muay Thai and Kickboxing World Champion wears them whether she’s out and about or walking toward the Circle. In the latter case, her crop tops are accompanied by her signature “Stamp Dance.”

With her new tattoos, it’s clear to everyone that the Fairtex standout likes to take this classic style and add her bold look to it, which contrasts with the style of our next fighter.

#2 Dress For Your Body Type

As a former Kickboxing World Champion with close to 100 carer fights, Tayfun “Turbine” Ozcan understands that great things take effort – even when it comes to fashion.

The #5-ranked featherweight kickboxer knows that whether he’s wearing a well-tailored suit or a pair of skinny jeans, the clothes must fit his body shape.

This approach to fashion makes Ozcan look great in a variety of outfits. The Turkish striker makes sure everything fits as snug as a pair of 8-ounce ONE Super Series kickboxing gloves.

#3 Wear Bright Colors

Jackie Buntan is an exceptional competitor, highlighted by three dominant ONE Super Series wins in a row. However, the Filipino-American striker likes to astonish outside the Circle as well.

No matter if she’s training at Boxing Works or heading for a night out, bright colors are Buntan’s go-to choice. She appears to have built herself a capsule wardrobe as she steps outside of the box and highlights her cheery personality with standout colors.

However, not all of ONE’s top strikers favor such colorful attire.

#4 Tie Your Outfit Together With A Jacket

Top-ranked featherweight kickboxer Marat Grigorian has spent a lot of time in the neutral corner while his downed opponents struggle through eight-counts, so it’s no surprise that he favors neutral colors.

From puffy coats to leather jackets, the Armenian-born kickboxing superstar owns a range of outerwear in toned-down colors. The only thing missing from his dressing room might be a denim jacket.

But who knows – if Grigorian dethrones ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion Superbon Singha Mawynn at ONE X on 26 March, maybe he’ll treat himself to some new threads.

#5 Keep It Classic

Recently signed striking sensation Iman Barlow is known as the “Pretty Killer” for her technical Muay Thai skills and stylish outfits outside of the Circle.

When it comes to her fashion sense, the four-time Kickboxing and Muay Thai World Champion prefers a classy look compared to something more chaotic – evident by this classic, knee-length black dress.

The British athlete always looks put-together when she’s not competing, and soon enough, ONE Championship fans will get to see her in action, too.
