A rescheduled matchup between two exciting strikers has been added to the stacked ONE Fight Night 15: Tawanchai vs. Superbon on Prime Video card on Friday, October 6.
Thai phenom Anna “Supergirl” Jaroonsak will make a quick return to the ring to face Spain’s Cristina Morales live in U.S. primetime at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
The atomweight kickboxing clash was originally due to take place at ONE Fight Night 13: Allazov vs. Grigorian on Prime Video on August 4, but Morales was not medically cleared to compete.
Still, “Supergirl” didn’t miss a beat as she defeated WBC Muay Thai World Champion Lara Fernandez via unanimous decision in the resulting 118-pound catchweight bout on late notice.
That improved the 19-year-old’s ONE record to 3-1, with the lone defeat coming via split decision in a bonus-winning performance against her superstar compatriot Stamp Fairtex.
With a swift turnaround, the Jaroonsak Muay Thai representative should be sharp and ready to take on Morales in front of a partisan home-country crowd.
On the other side, ISKA K-1 World Champion Morales will be aiming to silence the Thai fans, and she owns the skills and experience to make it happen.
The Spaniard has already prepared for “Supergirl” once, and she’ll want to make the most of her second chance to go against one of the most talked-about rising stars in the world’s largest martial arts organization.
Boasting an impressive 48-8 professional record, Morales has seen it all inside the ring and is more experienced under kickboxing rules than her opponent.
