SINGAPORE – Singapore mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter May Ooi has signed on with One Championship and will make her debut at the One: Quest For Greatness in Kuala Lumpur. The deal was announced on Monday (July 10). The 40-year-old former national swimmer, who represented Singapore at the 1992 Summer Olympics, will face Malaysian Ann Osman in the strawweight division (56.7kg) at the Stadium Negara on Aug 18.

Jakarta. Thai mixed martial arts fighter Yodsanan “Little Tyson” Sityodtong will face Indonesia-based Liberian fighter Jerome S. Paye on the undercard of One Championship tournament at GOR Kertajaya Arena in Surabaya, East Java, on July 29. Sityodtong has brought his country to the top of the boxing world when he captured the coveted World Boxing Association (WBA) super featherweight title in front of his countrymen more than a decade ago. SINGAPORE – Singaporean Niko Soe is set to face Indonesian Stefer Rahardian at One Championship’s Conquest of Kings event in Surabaya, Indonesia later this month. The 24-year-old, who has a professional mixed martial arts (MMA) record of three wins and one loss, defeated Malaysia’s Muhamad Haidar in 77sec via a first-round submission last November – showcasing a well-rounded skill set with a strong ground game.

Soe, 24, pits his record of three wins and one loss in a flyweight (60kg) tilt against undefeated Indonesian Stefer Rahardian (six wins and no losses).
