Warrior Women: 4 Female Stars Competing At ONE Fight Night 10 In Colorado

Stamp Fairtex in the Circle at ONE Fight Night 6

Eleven explosive contests have been confirmed for ONE Fight Night 10: Johnson vs. Moraes III on Prime Video, and those include a pair of exciting women’s matchups that could steal the show on Friday, May 5.

Top-ranked atomweight MMA contender Stamp Fairtex and American sensation Alyse Anderson will throw down at 1stBank Center in Colorado, and their bout will have serious implications for the World Title picture.

And earlier in the night, Filipina-American phenom Jackie Buntan will collide with Australian striker Diandra Martin in a crucial strawweight Muay Thai battle.

With so many eyes on this historic North American debut for ONE Championship, all four athletes will be fired up to showcase their skills in front of a massive audience.

Here’s what you need to know about each of them before they square off live in U.S. primetime.

Stamp Fairtex

Three-sport superstar Stamp is the most decorated of the bunch.

Before she dedicated most of her time to mixed martial arts, the 25-year-old Thai was the ONE Atomweight Kickboxing and Muay Thai World Champion.

Then following a string of impressive results in MMA, Stamp won the ONE Women’s Atomweight World Grand Prix to earn a shot at the division’s gold.

She came up short against longtime queen Angela Lee but still showed her amazing development in the all-around sport. Now back on the winning track, the Fairtex representative is gunning for another shot at gold in the near future.

Raised in Muay Thai, Stamp is a ferocious striker. She has also evolved massively with her wrestling and submission skills, making her a formidable fighter in every area.

Plus, the Pattaya resident has endeared herself to fans worldwide with her renowned “Stamp Dance” and fun-loving personality, coupling combat with charisma to become one of the most popular athletes on the roster.

Alyse Anderson

While Anderson will be the underdog against #1-ranked Stamp, she’ll have plenty of support from U.S. fans when she enters the Circle.

The 28-year-old Michigan native picked up her first promotional victory over Asha Roka last time out, and this matchup is an incredible opportunity to establish herself as a top contender in the atomweight MMA division.

Anderson is a rangy fighter for the weight class, which could pose some questions for Stamp’s striking, but her best route to victory will be on the ground.

Training alongside some elite-level wrestlers at American Top Team, “Lil’ Savage” will surely look to drag her foe to the canvas, where she has shown proficient submission skills in the past.

She may get a boost from the partisan crowd, and a solid performance would prove that she’s right at home among the elite.

Jackie Buntan

Another American favorite has an important role to play on May 5, with Buntan primed to kick-start the Prime Video portion of the card against Martin.

The 25-year-old Californian exploded onto the global stage with three impressive victories to earn a shot at the inaugural ONE Women’s Strawweight Muay Thai World Title against Smilla Sundell.

Although she lost a decision to the Swedish phenom, Buntan is back on the rise with a win over Amber Kitchen in her last match.

The slick Boxing Works product has been preparing alongside her teammate and reigning ONE Atomweight Kickboxing World Champion Janet Todd, so she knows what it takes to reach the top.

Buntan has all the tools to succeed, and if she can put them together in Colorado, she could work her way closer to a World Title rematch.

Diandra Martin

Australian rising star Diandra Martin has shown both courage and skill in her ONE tenure to date.

The MuayU representative debuted in a tough battle against Sundell, where she absorbed strike after strike but still came forward for as long as she physically could.

And though she was ultimately stopped by the reigning strawweight Muay Thai queen, Martin bounced back with a decision win over Kitchen.

She’s a sharp striker with long limbs that she uses to good effect, but she is also strong in all ranges, with an effective clinch game in close.

After picking up the win over Kitchen, Martin called out Buntan, and she’ll be motivated to make a statement at this historic event.
