History was made when ONE Championship returned to the iconic Lumpinee Stadium for ONE Fight Night 35: Buntan vs. Hemetsberger this past Friday, September 5.

In the main event, Stella “Always Hungry” Hemetsberger defeated American kickboxing queen Jackie Buntan via unanimous decision to claim the vacant ONE Women’s Strawweight Muay Thai World Title and become Austria’s first-ever ONE World Champion.

The headline attraction may have produced a moment for the record books, but the supporting card was just as thrilling. In fact, the first seven matches of the U.S. primetime event ended in highlight-reel fashion.

Not only did ONE Welterweight Submission Grappling World Champion Tye Ruotolo enjoy a successful MMA debut, but Akbar Abdullaev, Natalie Salcedo, and Hyu Iwata maintained their perfect career records.
