Path Of Destruction: Nakrob’s 5 Unforgettable Knockouts In ONE Championship

Nakrob Fairtex Puengluang Baanramba ONE Friday Fights 101 17

Thai striking sensation Nakrob Fairtex has firmly established himself as one of Muay Thai’s most talented fighters – and an undeniably devastating finisher.

The Fairtex Training Center standout will soon put his #4 spot in the flyweight Muay Thai division on the line when he squares off with the surging Jaosuayai Mor Krungthepthonburi at ONE Fight Night 32 on Prime Video in U.S. primetime on Friday, June 6.

That high-stakes contest goes down at Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium and will be another opportunity for Nakrob to showcase his bone-crushing power and elite finishing instincts.

Before the 26-year-old looks for his sixth knockout in ONE, we recap each of his highlight-reel finishes in the world’s largest martial arts organization so far.

#1 Crushes Chen

Nakrob’s first stoppage victory in ONE came against dangerous promotional newcomer Chen Jiayi in March 2023 at ONE Friday Fights 9. After weathering an early storm from the Chinese striker, he turned the tide in the second stanza with a vicious display of offense.

The finish came 2:45 into the round when Nakrob landed a series of soul-stealing knees to his opponent’s midsection, forcing the referee to call a merciful end to the contest.

With the win, the Thai improved his ONE record to 2-0, showcased his warrior spirit, and demonstrated his devastating counter-striking ability.

#2 Puts Petputhai To Sleep

In July 2023, Nakrob delivered an even more spectacular finish against his Thai compatriot Petputhai Or Bor Jor Nakhonpanom that brought the Lumpinee crowd to its feet.

A dynamic striker who attacks at every level, Nakrob first softened his foe with a punishing body shot before unleashing crispy punching combinations that forced Petputhai against the ropes. From there, he turned up the pressure with concussive elbow strikes, sending his opponent crashing to the canvas midway through the second round.

This unforgettable knockout was a thing of beauty and confirmed Nakrob’s status as a ruthless finisher.

#3 Body Shot Brutality Against Dedduanglek

Nakrob returned in November 2023 to take on then-#3-ranked flyweight Muay Thai contender Dedduanglek TDed99 at ONE Friday Fights 41. The Fairtex representative showcased both his tactical brilliance and terrifying body work in a hotly anticipated main event.

After dropping Dedduanglek with a big right hook in the second frame, Nakrob closed the show early in the third with a crushing right to the gut that instantly crumbled his rival.

With a win over a top-five ranked contender, he proved his ability to adapt his game plan and dominate elite opposition.

#4 A Six-Figure Elbow Against Khalilov

Nakrob’s most consequential finish to date came against respected ONE veteran Tagir Khalilov in June 2024, earning him a life-altering US$100,000 contract and a spot on ONE’s global roster.

The Thai worked diligently to establish his range early before unloading a picture-perfect right elbow that floored the Russian, who failed to beat the referee’s count.

That first-round destruction marked his most impressive victory to that point, pushed his ONE record to 8-1, and secured his place on the promotion’s main roster.

#5 Flatlines Puengluang

In his most recent outing, Nakrob displayed his unshakable composure and emerged victorious after an unbelievable firefight with battle-tested young star Puengluang Baanramba.

Nakrob was stunned early in the bout, finding himself on the receiving end of a brutal head kick that put him down.

He would battle back with technical precision and ferocity, scoring a clean knockdown later in the first round with a massive right hand, then securing the finish with another jaw-crushing right hand in the second.

With his superhuman durability, world-class striking repertoire, and championship mindset, Nakrob looks poised to turn in another electrifying performance at ONE Fight Night 32.
