Tilek Batyrov is no stranger to hard work, having held jobs at factories in Russia to help support his family since his mother passed away when he was just 18. He first realized his passion for MMA after watching living legend Fedor Emelianenko in action, and soon went on to rise quickly through Eastern Europe’s highly competitive ranks.
An Alash Pride Grand Prix Champion, JFC Champion, and two-time Combat Sambo World Champion, the 24-year-old is one of the top flyweight prospects to ever emerge from the region. Fighting out of of Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, Batyrov has amassed a stellar 10-1 record in his professional mixed martial arts career, and has finished almost every opponent he’s faced. Since making his professional debut in 2012, he has scored an impressive six submissions and three knockouts, with seven of them coming in the very first round.
