ONE’s Muay Thai divisions are littered with exciting talent, but Rittidet Sor Sommai stands tall as one of the most thrilling fighters in the sport today.

Incredibly, Rittidet was also a gifted soccer player as a youngster, but in many ways, he was destined to achieve greatness in “the art of eight limbs.”

His father was also a Muay Thai fighter, and he began training at an early age in his native Sisaket, Thailand. In an early glimpse of what was to come, he won his first fight by knockout at just 6 years old.

Muay Thai offered more income opportunities than soccer, so he decided to dedicate his life to the sport and eventually earned himself a move to Bangkok, Thailand’s famed Sor Sommai gym.

After a successful career on the regional stadium circuit in Bangkok that saw Rittidet rack up an impressive 83-7 record, the opportunity to test his mettle on the ONE Friday Fights platform emerged in 2023.

He has since proven to be a finishing machine, racking up a slew of highlight-reel knockouts and endearing himself to the ONE audience.
