Ranma

Ranma is one of Japan’s fastest-rising kickboxing stars, and the 22-year-old is proving he has what it takes to become a force on the global stage.

He was born in Nakatosa, a coastal farming town in Kochi Prefecture. Like many young martial artists, Ranma began training with one simple goal in mind: to become stronger.

That pursuit eventually led him to Team Teppen, one of the top gyms in Japan, where he sharpened his skills alongside some of the country’s best strikers.

Ranma wasted no time turning pro, making his professional debut just 10 days after his 19th birthday. But his journey hit an early roadblock when he suffered a knockout loss in his second pro bout only two months later.

Rather than letting the setback derail him, the Japanese striker regrouped. He got back on track with a win and a draw before kicking off an impressive winning streak. Along the way, he avenged his only defeat in emphatic fashion, knocking out his old foe in the first round.

With a 6-1 record, Ranma made his ONE Championship debut in January 2026 and immediately made his presence felt, earning a performance bonus in his first outing.

The Nakatosa native continued to impress, and his third win in the promotion proved life-changing. In May 2026, Ranma knocked out China’s Yi Nuo to earn a six-figure contract with the world’s largest martial arts organization.

Inside the ring, the sharp southpaw controls the action with crisp boxing, slick footwork, and precise timing. He uses his movement to create openings, then capitalizes with powerful strikes that can end a fight in an instant.

Outside the ring, Ranma is driven by a purpose bigger than himself. He wants to be a “hero-like” fighter, inspired by the heroes he has always admired, such as Luffy from One Piece.

That heroic spirit extends to his long-term goals as well. He dreams of using his fight earnings to build a gym that will help kids in need, giving them the same opportunity martial arts gave him.
