Brad Robinson will be a familiar face to people all over Asia, being a part-time TV presenter, but the American is also an up-and-coming mixed martial artist with a respectable record.
When he first decided to try mixed martial arts, Robinson was overweight and out of shape, weighing an unhealthy 150kg. However, he soon found that martial arts was an incredibly effective way to shed that excess weight. After a tough training regimen that saw him shed an astonishing 70kg, he turned out to be an exciting talent with a sophisticated grappling game.
Robinson then decided to turn professional, and made his cage debut for the Ultimate Beatdown promotion in Malaysia. He then defeated his first two opponents, finishing one via TKO, to earn a place on the ONE Championship roster, where he has been a part of some thrilling bouts to date.
