Filipino hero Brandon Vera needed just 26 seconds to win the inaugural ONE Heavyweight World Championship, taking out Chinese-Canadian behemoth Paul Cheng in one of the most thrilling knockouts in ONE history. Not long after the opening bell, Vera caught an over-aggressive Cheng with a counter hook that brought him to his knees. With Cheng attempting to get back to his feet, Vera would pounce, firing off a high kick that landed flush and awarded him ONE gold.
