ONE Championship, the world’s largest martial arts organization, and the Seven Network (Seven), Australia’s leading broadcast television network, today announced an exclusive partnership to broadcast ONE’s martial arts events and content in Australia for the first time in the country.

The landmark partnership also marks the first time Seven will broadcast mixed martial arts content to its audiences, further consolidating the network’s position as the most-watched sports broadcaster in the country while expanding its offering to meet a growing mainstream fan base and demand for combat sports.

Seven will broadcast both “ONE Fight Night” and “ONE Friday Fights” events on 7plus as well as provide fans access to event highlights and ONE’s library archive of more than 100 past events and 500 hours of content.

Hua Fung Teh, Co-Founder and Group President of ONE Championship, said: “We’re incredibly excited to finally bring ONE to a major Australian network and honored to do it by partnering with Seven, the country’s number one broadcast network. This is yet another historic milestone in ONE’s journey and we can’t wait to engage with our growing fan base in Australia and give them the free-to-air access to our martial arts events that they’ve been waiting for.”

Seven West Media Chief Digital Officer, Gereurd Roberts, said: “We are thrilled to bring ONE Championship to 7plus, live and free, where it will reach over 13.5 million users. The incredible growth of mixed martial arts globally and the soaring growth of ONE in Asia demonstrates the demand from viewers to watch world-class sports content, and points to the strong engagement we expect to see on 7plus.

“With premium sport continuing to drive audiences on 7plus, our exclusive partnership with ONE will deliver blockbuster live events to build on this momentum and further consolidate 7plus’ position as the go-to destination for sports fans in Australia.”

Seven will officially start to broadcast ONE’s live events starting on March 17 and fans will be able to watch all of ONE’s events for free on 7plus, as well as access video highlights and past ONE events.

Over the past year, ONE has announced significant partnerships with several leading broadcasters in key markets across the world spanning free-to-air and digital platforms. These include broadcast partnerships with Prime Video in the United States and Canada, beIN MEDIA GROUP across 24 territories in the Middle East and North Africa, as well as Globo’s Combate in Brazil.
