The Inner Circle Superfan Club Fights Results: Rambolek Nabs Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title From Anane
Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon delivered the performance of his career, systematically dismantling Nabil Anane to claim the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Championship via unanimous decision at The Inner Circle Superfan Club Fights on Friday, March 20, at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
The Superbon Training Camp athlete promised to give it his all, and that he did throughout this Asia primetime five-round war to secure his sixth straight promotional victory.
He stayed composed on the outside, using his range to frustrate the defending king, who preferred to work in the clinch. Anane lunged forward repeatedly looking to wrap up his opponent, but the 23-year-old Thai timed him cleanly, landing a big right hand that announced his intentions early.
The second round is where the fight began to turn. Rambolek went to work on the 21-year-old Thai-Algerian’s lead leg with punishing low kicks, each one landing with enough force to make Anane visibly buckle and hobble.
Anane tried to fight through the damage by pressing forward with punches down the middle, but his leg was already compromised.
Rambolek seized full control in the third. The exchanges were back and forth, but it was a thunderous overhand right from the knockout merchant that dropped Anane to the canvas and swung the scorecards decisively in his favor.
He replicated the formula in the fourth, luring his opponent into a rush before cranking out another overhand right that sent Anane crashing to the floor for the second time.
With a comfortable lead heading into the fifth, the challenger fought smart. He used his push kick as a wall to keep Anane at bay every time he surged forward. When Anane did close the gap, the Thai used his knee to neutralize the clinch attacks that had defined Anane’s reign.
When the final bell rang, all three judges had seen enough. Rambolek improved to 68-14, dethroning one of ONE Championship’s most exciting titleholders and announcing himself as the new face of the bantamweight Muay Thai division.
