The Inner Circle 26 Results: Gingsanglek Rebounds In Style, Petkhaokradong Extends Winning Streak
Four high-octane Muay Thai fights officially opened ONE Championship’s massive triple-header weekend at The Inner Circle 26.
Airing exclusively for subscribers at live.onefc.com in Asia primetime on Friday, August 14, the card built toward the strawweight Muay Thai main event clash between Wanchainoi Pongsuphan PK and Petnamkhong Sor Maneekhot.
From the first exchange to the final bell, here is how it all went down inside the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Gingsanglek Chops Down Ramos
Thai demolisher Gingsanglek Wor Kumchamnarn returned with a vengeance, battering American debutant Dmitri Ramos for a second-round knockout in their action-packed bantamweight Muay Thai co-main event.
Hungry for revenge after suffering a knockout loss in his last outing, the dynamic southpaw immediately showed he meant business. The 25-year-old chopped away at his foe’s lead leg with punishing kicks, while seamlessly setting up his left power punches.
Still, Ramos refused to back down. He happily showcased his impressive boxing combinations in the pocket. Unfazed by the return fire, Gingsanglek continuously prodded forward and unloaded full-windup body strikes to test the newcomer’s resolve. Refusing to check those blistering low kicks late in the first canto proved to be a costly mistake for Ramos, though.
The brutal toll was apparent as the second frame began, leaving Ramos visibly flat-footed and robbed of his early mobility. Another agonizing leg kick shattered the American’s guard, and Gingsanglek instantly capitalized with a crisp one-two and a sweeping low kick that dropped the American to the canvas.
Although the newcomer limped back to his feet, the Thai star’s finishing instinct immediately shifted into overdrive. He connected with a sharp elbow that clipped Ramos before unleashing a match-winning five-punch combination that closed the fight at the 1:13 mark of the second stanza.
The emphatic triumph improved the PK Saenchai Muaythaigym representative’s professional record to 46-13.
Petkhaokradong, Bakjo, Nongnuk Impress In Three-Round Wars
In the following bout, Petkhaokradong Lukjaomaesaithong kept his momentum rolling with a third straight win, outpointing undefeated Vadzim Shapiatsiuk in a grueling nine-minute battle. Excellent range management and a punishing clinch game proved the difference, moving him to 54-21 and further up the lightweight Muay Thai ladder.
Next, 21-year-old Thai sensation Bakjo Sitkhunma secured the biggest feather in his cap by outclassing six-time Rajadamnern Stadium Muay Thai World Champion Petsuphan Por Prajansi. The dominant atomweight Muay Thai victory pushed his promotional winning streak to two and bumped his overall slate to 48-15.
In the women’s atomweight Muay Thai opener, Nongnuk Sor Dechapan set the tone for the evening, spoiling the global stage debut of WMC and WBC Muay Thai World Champion Saya “Muay Thai Genius” Ito via unanimous decision to push her career record to 72-19.
