Teen Prodigy Johan Ghazali To Face Diego Paez In Flyweight Muay Thai Bout At ONE Fight Night 32

A must-watch flyweight Muay Thai clash has been added to ONE Championship’s spring lineup.

On June 6 in U.S. primetime at ONE Fight Night 32: Nakrob vs. Jaosuayai on Prime Video, teenage sensation Johan “Jojo” Ghazali will go toe-to-toe with Colombian-American striker Diego Paez at Bangkok’s historic Lumpinee Stadium.

The 18-year-old Ghazali has quickly become one of Muay Thai’s most electrifying rising stars since earning a six-figure contract and a spot on ONE’s main roster in 2023.

Renowned for his all-action game and devastating finishing ability, the Malaysian-American has established himself as a true entertainer on the global stage.

Although he’ll come into this contest following a loss to #5-ranked contender Johan Estupinan, Ghazali remains one of the most dangerous flyweight strikers on the planet, having racked up five highlight-reel knockouts across six victories in the world’s largest martial arts organization.

He hopes to assert himself as a bona fide World Title contender and bounce back to the win column against an athletically gifted foe.

The 31-year-old Paez will be hunting for his first ONE Championship victory after dropping a close split decision to fellow American standout Sean Climaco in his promotional debut at ONE Fight Night 28 this past February.

Prior to arriving in ONE, Paez amassed an impressive pedigree, going 10-0 as an amateur while capturing five titles on the U.S. regional circuit.

Training out of Classic Fight Team in Southern California, he is known for his blistering pace and dynamic, hard-to-predict striking that could give the hard-hitting Ghazali plenty of problems.

With both athletes eager to make a statement in the talent-packed flyweight Muay Thai division, this bout promises nonstop action from the opening bell.

“Jojo’s” youth and show-stopping power will collide with Paez’s unique style in what looks to be a striking fan’s delight at ONE Fight Night 32.
