ONE Friday Fights 143 Results: Denkriangkrai Outsmarts Petapichat For Fourth Straight Win
Denkriangkrai Mavinn Muaythai claimed a hard-fought split decision over Petapichat Apichat Muaythai in his flyweight Muay Thai bout at ONE Friday Fights 143 on February 20 at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
The 27-year-old came out with a clear game in this Asia primetime slufest, targeting his fellow countryman’s body with heavy knees in the clinch. But Petapichat – a Rajadamnern Stadium Muay Thai World Champion with the credentials to back up his confidence – refused to be softened quietly and countered with crisp boxing, varying his attacks by changing levels and threading in low kicks.
Round two evolved into a chess match fought at close range. Petapichat timed his counters with elbows and knees each time Denkriangkrai stepped into range with kicks, and there were moments where his precision threatened to shift the momentum.

However, Denkriangkrai’s timing was the difference maker. The Team Mavinn Muaythai pride read his foe like a textbook and made Petapichat pay for every offensive commitment. The accumulated damage told its own story on the judges’ scorecards.
Petapichat arrived in the third round knowing he needed a statement round, and he pressed forward with renewed urgency. Still, his dance partner met every charge with composure and relied on his superb clinch game to neutralize his opponent’s power, all while snapping back with accurate counters.
When Petapichat forced the exchanges, Denkriangkrai shut him down with strikes before he could build momentum. A final gust of offense from the 23-year-old in the closing seconds wasn’t enough to sway two of the three judges.
As a result, Denkriangkrai left the mecca of Muay Thai with his 61st career win while extending his winning streak to four in succession.
