Just days after the blockbuster ONE Samurai announcement in Japan, ONE Championship returns to Thailand for another edition of its weekly Asia primetime event series.
The world’s largest martial arts organization will broadcast ONE Friday Fights 143 live from Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium on February 20, and nearly two dozen MMA, Muay Thai, and kickboxing rising stars will compete for a chance to earn a life-changing six-figure contract.
In the main event, Israeli standout Shir Cohen will square off against “The Kayan Leopard” Vero, and whoever emerges victorious could get the next crack at Allycia Hellen Rodrigues’ ONE Women’s Atomweight Muay Thai World Title.
Surging Thai stars Denkriangkrai Mavinn Muaythai and Petapichat Apichat Muaythai will collide in the flyweight Muay Thai co-main event, and a dazzling highlight-reel stoppage will get the winner within striking distance of the lucrative deal and global roster spot with ONE Championship.
The card will also feature the highly anticipated returns of former top-five contender Nakrob Fairtex, 19-year-old Japanese kickboxer Yoshida Kosei, and teenage women’s atomweight sensation Chabakaew Sor KanJanchai.
