ONE Friday Fights 141 Main Event Result: Samingdam Digs Deep To Outpoint Komawut In Thrilling War
Samingdam NF Looksuan and Komawut FA Group delivered an epic slugfest in the main event of ONE Friday Fights 141 on February 6.
After three grueling rounds of back-and-forth action, the former escaped with the slightest of margins via split decision in their flyweight Muay Thai contest, live in Asia primetime, inside Bangkok’s legendary Lumpinee Stadium.
Komawut came out with urgency, seeking to break his four-fight slump. The FA Group martial artist set the tone with hard jabs and low kicks from range.

The NF Looksuan representative remained content to counterstrike, though. He responded with piercing left hooks to the body, and closed the round strong with his piston-like right fist that consistently found its mark.
Knowing he was behind, Komawut turned up the jets in the ensuing frame. The 26-year-old instigated a phonebooth war, dragging the fight to the clinch with sheer ferocity. He used slicing elbows and knees to shift the tide.
Samingdam tried pushing away and kept threatening with right hooks, but his determined compatriot kept rushing in recklessly with punishing pressure.
It was anybody’s game heading into the final frame, and that’s where Samingdam found his second wind. The 23-year-old broke his foe’s rhythm and forced him in reverse gear with timely body kicks.
He continued hitting his groove and soon busted Komawut’s nose with a well-placed uppercut. Sensing his opponent fading, the NF Looksuan man unleashed his full arsenal – powerful haymakers and jumping knees – as the clock ran out.
Samingdamn’s late surge and his overall output across this epic all-Thai war were enough to earn him his fourth straight victory on the global stage, improving his overall record to 46-9.
