Before the historic ONE 172: Takeru vs. Rodtang goes down this Sunday, March 23, in Japan, ONE Championship will kick off the weekend with a 12-bout extravaganza at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
ONE Friday Fights 101 airs live in Asia primetime on March 21 and features fights across Muay Thai, kickboxing, and MMA. There, a slew of international rising stars will fight for a chance to win a US$100,00 contract with the world’s largest martial arts organization.
In the headline attraction, already-contracted #4-ranked flyweight Muay Thai contender Nakrob Fairtex promises to slide back into the win column when he faces Thai compatriot Puengluang Baanramba.
The event also features unbeaten Israeli-American Ahavat Gordon, who makes his promotional debut against Myanmar’s Eh Mwi in flyweight Muay Thai action. Plus, the Philippines’ Carlos Alvarez returns to the fold to meet undefeated Seiya Matsuda of Japan in a featherweight MMA battle.
