Ricardo “Argentinian Samurai” Bravo came back from the brink of injury to knock out “The Eagle” Mohamed Younes Rabah with just two seconds remaining in the first round of their chaotic featherweight Muay Thai co-main event.
Both men traded blows from the outside early, but when they closed the distance, the 29-year-old Algerian standout accidentally poked Bravo in the eye. Just as the referee stepped in to grant an injury timeout, Rabah threw a knee that landed below the belt.
Bravo eventually recovered and went on the attack, following his foe with a right punch and left hook combination that sent “The Eagle” to the canvas. Rabah returned to his feet, and the two traded with intent until the 26-year-old Argentinian striker clipped him with a left hook that sent him crashing down to the mat for good.
The finish, which was registered at the 2:58 mark of round one, snapped one of the hardest stretches of Bravo’s career, as he had been riding a three-fight losing streak. That spectacular victory pushed his record to 28-5.
Estupinan Beats Jaosuayai In Fiery Slugfest
Jordan “Panda Kick” Estupinan went to war in a wild firefight with Jaosuayai Mor Krungthepthonburi for three hard rounds, and in the end, he did just enough to take the unanimous decision in their flyweight Muay Thai showdown.
Estupinan opened round one teasing high left kicks and scoring knees inside the clinch. However, the 24-year-old Sor Dechapan standout began finding his range as the frame progressed, punishing his South American adversary’s body with shovel hooks.
The 23-year-old Colombian struck first in the second stanza, scoring a knockdown with a right low kick that landed flush across the Thai’s calf.
Jaosuayai hopped gamely to his feet and answered the referee’s eight-count, fighting like a warrior, only for Estupinan to tag him with a right hand that spun him around. The Thai fired back with a right hook in a fiery exchange that floored “Panda Kick” for an eight-count of his own.
It was anyone’s game in the third and final round. Estupinan continued to punish the calf, all while Jaosuayai lunged forward with punches from the outside.
Ultimately, the judges were unanimous in their scorecards, and Estupinan’s calf-kick strategy proved decisive down the stretch. That hard-earned win elevated his career record to 10-2.
El Jamari Shatters Nguyen’s Perfect Record
Elmehdi “The Sniper” El Jamari spoiled “Luffy” Ngoc Phu Nguyen‘s promotional debut and destroyed his spotless slate, as he finished the 22-year-old Vietnamese debutant in their strawweight Muay Thai contest.
The Moroccan knocked him down three times in a single round to earn the TKO stoppage at the 2:42 mark of the opening frame.
All three knockdowns came from a whirlwind of body attacks by El Jamari. Once he dropped Nguyen the first time, the 29-year-old continued to march forward with his power punches and eventually floored him twice more to seal the deal.
With the victory, the Moroccan returned to the win column and improved his record to 28-3.
