‘My Goal Is To Hunt For My Title’ – Three-Sport Superstar Stamp Fairtex Fired Up To Reclaim Her MMA Throne
Thai megastar Stamp Fairtex is ready to go all out in hot pursuit of regaining the ONE Women’s Atomweight MMA World Title she never lost in battle.
After almost two years battling through injury, rehabilitation, and uncertainty, the former three-sport ONE World Champion stepped inside the Circle again in 2025.
Her November return on the star-studded ONE 173: Superbon vs. Noiri card in Tokyo against former K-1 Champion Kana “Krusher Queen” Morimoto didn’t produce a victory, but it delivered something more valuable — proof that her surgically repaired knee could survive nine minutes of high-level competition.
The unanimous decision loss to her Japanese foe didn’t sting as much. What’s more important is that the validation she gained in battle tasted much sweeter than mere victory. Stamp proved to herself that she could still hang among the elite on the global stage.
As she enters 2026 with a clean bill of health and renewed purpose, the striking specialist has set her sights on the gold she sacrificed for the greater good.
The 28-year-old declared:
“I expect to be the best version of myself that I can possibly be. My goal is to hunt for my title back.”
Stamp acquired the sport’s most prized possession by finishing Ham “Hamzzang” Seo Hee in the main event of ONE Fight Night 14 in September 2023, where she became the first three-sport World Champion in ONE history.
But a torn meniscus she suffered in May 2024 derailed her reign before it truly began, forcing her to the sidelines for what became an agonizing two-year battle outside of competition.
She was slated to return in May 2025. But as she was preparing for a unification bout with close friend and interim champion Denice “The Menace” Zamboanga, the Thai slugger ran into more complications with her injury.
It was then that she made the selfless decision to vacate her crown rather than hold up the division.
The move elevated Zamboanga to undisputed status and allowed the women’s atomweight MMA landscape to move forward while Stamp focused entirely on healing.
With the road to recovery now out of the way, Stamp is planning a full campaign designed to rebuild momentum, sharpen her elite skill set, and remind the martial arts world why she became a three-sport queen in the first place.
She told onefc.com:
“I want to fight about three to four times [this] year because MMA takes a lot of time to train and prepare.”
Stamp Fairtex Has Plans Before World Title Hunt
While reclaiming the ONE Women’s Atomweight MMA World Championship remains Stamp’s ultimate priority, the Thai megastar admits she’s in no rush to dive straight back into World Title contention.
The 28-year-old would prefer another striking bout first, which would allow her to rebuild her conditioning inside the environment where she first rose to prominence.
She explained:
“For this year, whenever ONE gives me a date, I’m ready. It might be another Muay Thai fight first to get my cardio and rhythm back in place.”
Another nine minutes of action in her bread and butter would further enhance her in-ring mental and physical abilities.
The Fairtex Training Center product has even identified a potential opponent for that striking showcase, whose aggressive style would provide exactly the type of test she needs before transitioning back to MMA.
Stamp continued:
“As for who I want to face [if I get a Muay Thai fight], I’d actually like to fight Vero. It looks like it would be a fun matchup.”
A clash against Vero “The Kayan Leopard” would certainly restore Stamp’s competitive rhythm and provide much-needed fight time inside the ring ahead of her MMA comeback.
Whether that striking bout against the in-form Myanmar star materializes or ONE fast-tracks her return to the all-encompassing discipline, one truth remains crystal clear: Stamp didn’t endure a lengthy spell on the sidelines just to take things slowly.
She’s approaching 2026 at full throttle to regain ONE gold.
