‘My Goal Is A Knockout’ – Panrit Vows To Finish Nakrob At ONE Friday Fights 143

Thai striker Panrit Lukjaomaesaiwaree refuses to let consecutive defeats define his ONE Championship journey, and he’s determined to prove his speed can overcome power when he faces Nakrob Fairtex at ONE Friday Fights 143.

The duo will collide in a bantamweight Muay Thai clash in the featured bout on Friday, February 20, broadcasting live in Asia primetime from Bangkok’s historic Lumpinee Stadium.

The Superbon Training Camp representative has compiled 74 career victories throughout his striking career, though his promotional journey has been a rollercoaster ride with more defeats than wins.

Last year proved particularly challenging for Panrit, as he secured just one victory against two losses. That disappointing campaign stood in stark contrast to his 2024 run, which saw him secure four consecutive victories that positioned him as a threat in the division.

Speaking to onefc.com about his recent struggles and determination to bounce back, Panrit opened up about his mentality:

“I’m back to having two straight losses in the promotion again, but I just have to keep developing. I need to hurry up and fix my mistakes to get better. I’m not the type to give up easily. I’m constantly pushing myself to get back to that peak form I had when I won four fights in a row.

“Last year was a mix of ups and downs for me. After every fight, I went back to adjust my game, plan my strategy, and try to improve my skills. I’m always taking those mistakes and trying to fix them.”

Facing Nakrob presents both opportunity and danger. The Fairtex representative’s aggressive style creates openings for counter-strikes, but his raw power and toughness make him a dangerous opponent for anyone in the bantamweight division.

While acknowledging his opponent’s physical strengths, the Superbon Training Camp product believes his quickness will create the opportunities needed for victory.

The Thai veteran declared:

“Nakrob is famous for his toughness. I have to admit I might not match him in terms of pure strength, but when it comes to speed, I’m confident I can take him. I’m ready to use my speed to my full advantage.

“If I get the chance, I’m definitely going for it. I’m very determined for this fight. I’m bringing my full arsenal and my goal is a knockout. I want that win and the bonus.”

Panrit Banking On Superbon’s Wisdom For Career-Defining Performance

Panrit Lukjaomaesaiwaree has spent his training camp absorbing every lesson from one of striking’s greatest champions.

Training under Superbon, the reigning ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion and one of the sport’s most technically brilliant strikers, has provided Panrit with invaluable insights into the adjustments needed against Nakrob Fairtex.

When asked about his preparation under Superbon’s guidance, Panrit revealed the specific areas of focus.

He explained:

“For this fight, Superbon has been training me extra hard on my kicking and punching. He told me to find the right rhythm to move in and out and not to take unnecessary risks in trades since I’m the smaller fighter.”

However, Panrit understands that even the best game plans can unravel once both fighters enter the ring.

The Thai veteran recognizes that a third straight loss would significantly damage his standing in the world’s largest martial arts organization, potentially limiting future opportunities or even jeopardizing his spot on the weekly event series.

The 29-year-old concluded:

“My focus is always on doing my best in the ring. Both of us will have a plan and we’ll both give it our all. Whatever the result is, I can accept it. But I’m going to do my absolute best because I don’t want to lose three in a row for the first time in this promotion. That could really hurt my future prospects.”
