‘I Still Have The Fire’ – Yodlekpet Aims To Rebound With Statement Win Against Anar Mammadov In ONE Friday Fights 134 Headliner

Thai slugger Yodlekpet “The Destroyer” Or Atchariya is no stranger to high-pressure moments, but his upcoming return at ONE Friday Fights 134 may be one of the most crucial bouts of his career.

On Friday, November 21, the four-time Muay Thai World Champion steps back into Bangkok, Thailand, where he’ll face Azerbaijan’s surging powerhouse Anar Mammadov in a flyweight Muay Thai clash.

For Yodlekpet, it’s a chance to reclaim momentum, restore confidence, and prove that “The Destroyer” still belongs among the most feared men in the division.

The Thai veteran enters the Asia primetime showdown following a razor-close split-decision loss in his rematch with Pompet PK Saenchai at ONE Friday Fights 126 in September. Though the result didn’t go his way, the 30-year-old believes the defeat came down to seconds, not skill.

He said:

“My preparation for both fights against Pompet wasn’t significantly different. I focused on trying to land my weapons more accurately. The moment that caused the loss was likely in the final seconds of the last round, where he performed better. After facing him twice, I believe his weakness is that he shows signs of tiring in the later rounds.”

Instead of dwelling on the setback, Yodlekpet used it as fuel. After all, he has scored eight wins in the weekly spectacle, including victories against Denis “The Bosnian Menace” Puric and Donking Yotharakmuaythai, building a reputation as a heavy hitter with ruthless pressure.

Now, he has doubled down on sharpening his tools and rebuilding momentum – especially because a victory here could push him closer toward the life-changing US$100,000 main-roster contract.

He said:

“I didn’t regret the last loss too much because I felt I gave my all, and it was an entertaining fight. I’m happy the audience enjoyed it. Now, I have to rebuild my form and try to get as close as possible to earning a ONE contract. I specifically want to improve my speed. I believe I can do much better.”

Part of that rebuilding has taken place in his new home at Silk Muay Thai, where Yodlekpet has undergone a noticeable transformation.

After years of relying on sheer toughness and firepower, he is now adding new wrinkles to his game – movement, evasion, and timing.

He said:

“I moved to Silk Muay Thai in May. Since I’ve been here, I’ve seen a lot of changes. I’m starting to use head movement and footwork to evade punches more effectively.”

Yodlekpet Wants A Year-End Breakthrough To Relaunch His Campaign

Yodlekpet Or Atchariya has been laser-focused ahead of his crucial matchup against Anar Mammadov, the Team Mehdi Zatout-trained striker whose ONE debut ended in a head-turning TKO against Komawut FA Group earlier this year.

Yodlekpet has paid close attention to the Azerbaijani star and respects the challenge ahead.

He said:

“I only saw Anar fight for two rounds in his debut. He’s a very well-rounded fighter with almost no visible weaknesses, and he has incredibly dangerous punches. Plus, he has a big, tall physique.”

While the Thai star respects Anar’s power and reach, he believes his own strengths – experience, variety, and increased speed – will give him the tools to take control of the fight.

With both men capable of stopping the fight at any moment, fans are expecting chaos. Still, Yodlekpet believes this showdown will come down to who can endure the storm.

He said:

“I believe that even if there isn’t a knockout, fans will see an exciting and fierce battle throughout all three rounds. The fighter with the greater endurance and toughness will win.”

For Yodlekpet, victory is more than a rebound. After alternating between wins and losses, he wants to remind the world that “The Destroyer” remains a threat to anyone standing across from him.

The Thai veteran is looking for redemption, stability, and a return to the consistency that once defined his ascent. Ending 2025 with a statement win would set the tone for an even bigger year ahead.

He said:

“I am very confident that ‘The Destroyer’ will make a comeback. I still have the fire for competition and the same hunger for victory. I want to defeat Anar as an early birthday gift to myself and to finish this year strongly.”
