Full Card Revealed For ONE Friday Fights 62 On May 10

The world’s largest martial arts organization will soon return to Bangkok’s historic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium for another action-packed installment of ONE Friday Fights.

ONE Friday Fights 62 goes down live in Asia primetime on May 10 and features elite fighters from around the globe competing in matchups designed to produce fireworks for as long as they last.

Fans are in for a treat in the main event, as Mongkolkaew Sor Sommai will rematch ET Wankhongohm MBK following their three-round thriller last November.

The Thai sluggers went to war at ONE Friday Fights 39, with ET scoring a stunning elbow knockout in the final round. This time, Mongkolkaew will be looking for revenge in their 130-pound catchweight Muay Thai battle.

Before that, Spain’s Xavier Gonzalez and Thailand’s Win Sitjanim – each regarded among Muay Thai’s top young talents – will throw down in a 128-pound catchweight bout that promises white-knuckle action from start to finish.

In flyweight kickboxing action, decorated Japanese standout Haruto Yasumoto will make his hotly anticipated ONE debut against dangerous Russian scrapper Temirlan Bekmurzaev.

At just 23 years old, Haruto has established himself as one of Asia’s top strikers, boasting an explosive kicking game that makes him a knockout threat at any moment.

Bekmurzaev, though, hopes to give the promotional newcomer a rude welcome. A well-rounded and heavy-handed brawler, the Russian knows that victory over Haruto would do wonders for his aspirations of making it on the global stage.

The card will open up with a pair of intriguing mixed martial arts contests.

First, former Road to ONE contestant Batochir Batsaikhan will put his powerful grappling and slick submission game to the test against Brazilian rising star Fabio Harada.

After that, Brazilian phenom Matheus Pereira will make his highly anticipated return against Russian debutant Evgenii Morozov in a lightweight MMA scrap.

Pereira is riding a three-bout winning streak, including a submission and TKO finish under the ONE Friday Fights banner.

However, he’ll face a stiff test in Morozov, who owns a flawless 6-0 professional record, which includes two knockouts and two submission wins.
