Full Card Revealed For ONE Friday Fights 143 On February 20
This Friday, February 20, the world’s largest martial arts organization returns to Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, with a spectacular 14-bout card showcasing global talent across Muay Thai and kickboxing.
ONE Friday Fights 143 airs live in Asia primetime and features multiple contracted athletes, rising stars hunting for coveted US$100,000 contracts, and compelling international matchups that promise explosive action from the opening bell.
In the main event, contracted Burmese striker Vero puts her skills to the test against Israeli sensation Shir Cohen in an atomweight Muay Thai clash between two of the division’s most dangerous finishers.
The 29-year-old Vero, known as “The Kayan Leopard,” brings a brawling style built around devastating boxing combinations and a powerful left body kick. The first female Myanmarese athlete to compete in ONE, Vero has overcome tremendous adversity to reach the global stage, rising from working on her family’s farm to becoming one of Myanmar’s most exciting strikers with a 29-4 record.
Cohen enters on a six-fight winning streak and is a Road to ONE: Thailand 2023 winner. The 25-year-old Israeli fighter discovered martial arts at 15 while searching for purpose after her parents’ divorce, and the sport transformed her life. Cohen brings ferocious pressure built around high-volume boxing combinations and her powerful right hand, backed by sharp counter low kicks that have carried her to a 10-1 record.
The co-main event features Thai technician Denkriangkrai Mavinn taking on former Rajadamnern Stadium World Champion Petapichat Apichat in flyweight Muay Thai action.
Denkriangkrai, 27, brings a record with 60 victories and is riding a three-fight winning streak. The southpaw specialist is renowned for his lethal left body kick and exceptional fight IQ that allows him to adapt seamlessly mid-bout. A former Omnoi Stadium Champion, Denkriangkrai grew up training at his uncle’s gym built inside a rubber plantation, where he developed the technical excellence that’s made him a force at ONE Friday Fights.
The 23-year-old Petapichat owns an impressive 72-11 record and possesses the timing and fight IQ to outsmart opponents with precision striking from any range. Fighting to honor his late father’s wish for him to become a successful Muay Thai fighter, Petapichat has risen from poverty to become one of Thailand’s most technically gifted strikers.
Also featured on the card, contracted athlete Nakrob Fairtex returns to action against Panrit Lukjaomaesaiwaree in bantamweight Muay Thai. The 27-year-old Nakrob, whose name means “warrior” in Thai, has been fighting since age 6 to support his family and younger sister’s education. He faces the experienced Panrit, a chaotic fighter known for causing havoc with barrages of punches and dominant clinch work.
The card also showcases rising atomweight talent as Chabakaew Sor KanJanchai faces Iranian striker Nazanin Hoseini. Additional highlights include Petchayut Nupranburi facing Japanese veteran Masatoshi Hirai. Kickboxing action features Russian technician Michael Baranov against Japanese striker Shoma, while Yoshida Kosei battles Uzbekistani finisher Fakhriddin Khasanov in flyweight competition.
Rounding out the lineup, Malaysian atomweight Muhammad Ridzuan makes his promotional debut against 16-year-old Japanese prodigy Riku Ito, while Georgian pressure fighter Elene Loladze takes on Sarah Mahmood in atomweight Muay Thai.
