ONE Friday Fights 140 features 14 intriguing matchups across Muay Thai, kickboxing, MMA, and submission grappling, showcasing international stars from around the globe — all of whom will be chasing the US$100,000 contract and spot on ONE Championship’s main roster.
In the headline attraction, Thai southpaw Kongchai Chanaidonmueang squares off with Myanmar powerhouse Thway Lin Htet in a strawweight Muay Thai rematch that promises nonstop action.
The 23-year-old Kongchai holds the distinction of competing more times at ONE Friday Fights than any other athlete, with 15 appearances showcasing his complete skill set. A former Rajadamnern Stadium Muay Thai World Champion, he brings devastating power in his left straight and left body kick, complemented by elite clinch work.
Most recently bouncing back with a decision victory, Kongchai will be eager to secure another statement win.
Standing across from him will be the 22-year-old Thway Lin Htet, who has established himself as one of Muay Thai’s most aggressive finishers. The Myanmar striker enters this rematch riding momentum from his spectacular second-round knockout of Chokpreecha at ONE Friday Fights 121, where he dropped his opponent twice with right hooks before sealing the finish.
With a 31-2 record that speaks to his dominance, Thway Lin Htet’s relentless pressure and devastating uppercuts make him a nightmare matchup for anyone.
Before that, in bantamweight Muay Thai action, Myanmar veteran Sonrak Fairtex collides with Thai technician Buakhiao Por Paoin in what will be a compelling clash of styles.
The 28-year-old Sonrak has compiled an extensive ONE Friday Fights resume across 14 appearances. The southpaw fighter thrives in the pocket, using powerful punches, devastating low kicks, and sharp elbows to break opponents down.
Most recently, he earned a spectacular first-round knockout over Yamin PK Saenchai, demonstrating the finishing power that has defined his career.
At 24 years old, Buakhiao offers a contrasting cerebral approach with his impeccable timing and technical precision. Training out of N&P Boxing Gym, the Thai striker uses accurate body kicks and well-timed counters to control exchanges, while his strong clinch work allows him to dominate at close range when necessary.
Lower on the card, French striker Antar Kacem aims to extend his impressive five-fight winning streak when he takes on Moroccan finisher Hamza “The Reaper” Rachid in a featured bantamweight Muay Thai bout.
The 27-year-old Kacem has looked sensational during his recent run, earning three knockout bonuses. Training out of Team Mehdi Zatout, the Belarusian-French striker combines technical boxing with dynamic footwork and devastating power in both hands.
With 28 career knockouts, Kacem is always a finishing threat.
The 26-year-old Rachid arrives riding his own six-fight winning streak that includes three knockouts. A seven-time Moroccan National Champion and IFMA World Games Champion, “The Reaper” brings aggressive, power-focused striking built around his left hook and straight right.
